2024 Spring Gala Recap
We want to extend a huge thank you to all who joined us in April for the first Triton Student Gala hosted by the Wooded Knot. Your presence created an exciting evening of dinner, drinks, a silent auction, and more. As we celebrate our shared commitment to supporting student success, thank you for join us in making a difference. Your support as a sponsor is greatly appreciated in making this event a success.
Our Gala was our main fundraising event of the 2024 year. We would like to thank our various sponsors for their gracious donations to our program and ultimately to Triton Scholars. Attendees at tonight’s Gala were treated to incredible speakers: Mr. Quentin Blackford, Mrs. Rita Price-Simpson, Mr. David Elijah Cox, and Judge Matt Sarber!
The Triton Student Life Foundation, with a goal of raising $60,000 in memory of Tritons’s 60th birthday, was hopeful to come close to this lofty goal. I am excited to announce after raising nearly $25,000 at tonight’s gala, added to the money raised leading up to the event, minus expenses, we have raised approximately $60,128! Shortly after announcing this at the gala, an incredibly generous donor expressed the desire to donate enough to bring our total to an even $70,000.
Overwhelming Blessed!! We are so happy and excited for our Triton Scholars who will benefit from these incredibly generous donations from this evenings event!
Thank you to all who attended, thank you to all those who gave who were unable to attend, thank you for the words of encouragement, and know that all of us together have made huge difference in the lives of our students!
